The modern methods of knowledge, the achievements of domestic and foreign legal science, as well as a current legislation of Ukraine are used in the dissertation; also theoretical and legal study of the legal culture of servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine has been conducted and the main approaches of its formation have been identified.
The scientific novelty of the obtained results is that the dissertation is one of the first in Ukraine complex theoretical and legal research of legal culture of servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine, its essence, structure, features, and also the basic approaches of its formation that has caused possibility of formulation of a number of new scientific ideas, conclusions and proposals. In particular, for the first time the definition of the concept of "legal culture of servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine" has been scientifically substantiated, its essential features, structure, specific features, functions have been determined; conducted theoretical-applicative and descriptive-analytical sociological study of the legal culture of servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine, based on which the main parameters of personal values of servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine, the real state of formation of their legal culture, the main problems of its development and improvement have been outlined; the definition of the concept of legal culture formation of servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine has been offered, the basic preconditions and approaches of this process have been defined; the content of normative documents on the service organization, social-humanitarian and educational work with servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine has been analyzed, and also proposals with definition of concrete approaches and forms of increasing the legal culture level has been developed. The scientific approaches to understanding a number of concepts and categories related to the study of legal culture; the methodological construction of legal culture research; the schematic construct of forming the legal culture concept of servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine; the approaches to the formation of the structural-system of legal culture have been improved. The categorical-conceptual apparatus of the theory of state and law by defining a number of concepts and categories related to the concept of legal culture; the scientific and theoretical approaches to understanding the concept of legal culture formation, factors and directions of this process; the substantiation of tasks, functions, principles, forms, methods of legal perception and legal education of servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine have received further development.
