Kravtsov D. Reconstruction and modernization of sports complexes of higher education institutions (on the example of Odessa)

The object of research - sports buildings and structures in the structure of higher education institutions. Aim – to develop scientific provisions for the reconstruction and modernization of sports complexes of higher education institutions, their architectural and planning organization. The research methodology is based on a systematic approach to the interpretation of the object and subject of research, analysis of scientific works and literature sources, survey of sports complexes, systematization of materials, development of theoretical principles, justification and experimental verification of the proposed principles and methods. Results: for the first time the architectural and typological features of sports complexes of higher education institutions in terms of their motivational capacity were studied; systematized methods of improving the functional and planning structure of the sports complex of higher education institutions in four areas; studied architectural and artistic means of increasing the motivational capacity of the architectural and spatial environment of the sports complex of higher education institutions in semantic and aesthetic aspects; the step-by-step methodological scheme of performance of works at reconstruction, modernization and designing of sports complexes of institutions of higher education is improved; system for evaluating the effectiveness of architectural and planning solutions of the sports complex of higher education institutions; methods of calculating the needs of higher education institutions in sports spaces and the formation of their nomenclature; ways of reconstruction and modernization of sports complexes of higher education institutions are offered; received further development: classification of sports complexes of higher education institutions by functional, urban and spatial planning features; basic principles of architectural and planning organization of sports complexes of higher education institutions. Introduced - into the educational process of the Department of Architecture of Buildings and Structures of AАI OSACIA in course and diploma design; during the experimental design of the sports complex of the cooperative form of operation for OSACIA, ONMU and NU "OMA" on the street Pishonovsky 2020.
