Essay

The object of research is thermohydraulic processes in a loop air heater to utilize the heat of dusty flue gases after the Welz process technology. The subject of the research is the system of heat utilization of dusty flue gases after metallurgical processes with the use of recuperative loop air heaters. The dissertation solves the scientific and practical problem of increasing the energy efficiency of the air heating system, which is supplied to the technological needs of the weltz process by utilizing the heat of dusty flue gases in the loop air heater. The solution is made using two advanced mathematical models based on the basic methods of heat exchange calculation in recuperative heat exchangers: the discrete P-NTU method and the correction factor method.
