Synoverska T. Forensic methods of investigating animal cruelty

In the dissertation the criminological technique of investigation of cruel treatment of animals is formed, the corresponding theoretical bases are formed and practical recommendations are offered. It was found that the formation of forensic methods of investigation of animal cruelty should be guided by the fundamental achievements of forensic scientists, as well as use works from other fields of knowledge, such as forensic veterinary medicine, forensic psychiatry, forensic entomology. Responsibility for cruelty to animals and the legal basis for the investigation of criminal offenses are regulated by a system of regulations, which are grouped as follows: I) international and national legislation in the field of protection of animals from cruelty; II) regulations that establish criminal liability for cruelty to animals and regulate the procedure of criminal proceedings.
