In the dissertation the theoretical generalization was carried out and the scientific task on the formation of organizational culture to future border guard officers in the process of professional training was realized.
The first section – «Theoretical bases for the formation of organizational culture to future border guard officers» – describes the essence of organizational culture as a subject of scientific research, reveals the content and structure of the concept of «organizational culture of a border guard officer».
The second section – «Scientific and organizational bases for the formation of organizational culture to future border guard officers» – presents the stages and methods of research, characterizes the criteria of the formation of organizational culture, presents the results of its diagnostics concerning future border guard officers.
The third section – «The study of the effectiveness of pedagogical conditions for forming the organizational culture to future border guard officers in the process of professional training» – substantiates the pedagogical conditions for forming the organizational culture to future border guard officers in the process of professional training, reveals the course of the formative stage of the pedagogical experiment, presents its results, and provides guidelines for scientific and pedagogical staff for the formation of organizational culture to future border guard officers in the process of their professional training.
The scientific novelty of the study lies in the following:
for the first time the pedagogical conditions for the formation of organizational culture to future border guard officers in the process of professional training have been justified (activation of value-motivational attitude of cadets to the study of topical problems of organizational culture of a border guard officer; development of the ability and skills of teamwork through the introduction of socio-psychological training; the use of modern dialogical forms, methods, and interactive teaching technologies to develop the skills of professional communicative interaction; developing organizational skills and abilities in managerial decision-making and leadership development through the staged introduction of professional situational tasks into the educational process and increasing their complexity in each course of study); the essence of the concept of «organizational culture of a border guard officer» has been defined (a professionally important quality, which covers the knowledge of the mission and values of the border agency, the ability to maintain and promote cohesion of the border collective and is manifested in compliance with professional standards in interpersonal professional interaction and performance of the tasks on the protection of the border, the organization and concentration);
the diagnostic apparatus for determining the status of the formation of the organizational culture to future border guard officers through the use of criteria (value, cognitive and activity), their corresponding indicators and the characteristics of levels (critical, acceptable and optimal) of formation of this quality has been improved;
scientific ideas about: the content and structure of the organizational culture of future border guard officers as a unity of personal, cognitive and behavioral components; the process of forming the organizational culture of future border guard officers through the developed structural and functional model have gained further development.
The practical significance of the obtained results is that:
a special course «Organizational Culture of a Border Guard Officer» has been developed and introduced. In this course the essence, functions and structure of the organizational culture of a border guard officer, features of the organizational culture of representatives of the border guard agency, the most important requirements of the organizational culture for a border guard officer as a specialist and a citizen, the ways of solving moral conflicts in border guard teams in accordance with the standards of organizational culture, prerequisites for effective leadership influence and the main stages of team building are disclosed;
educational and material support for teaching the academic subjects «Tactics of Border Service», «General Tactics», «Psychology of Extreme Activity», «Reinforcement of Border Units», «Moral and Psychological Support of Operational and Service Activity», «Fundamentals of Management», including the training for developing skills of partner interaction in a team, professionally-oriented tasks of a problem-oriented nature to develop cadets’ organizational skills as well as skills of managerial decision-making and leadership;
methodological recommendations to scientific and pedagogical staff on the formation of organizational culture to future border guard officers in the process of professional training have been worked out.
