Nikitina M. Features of morpho-functional organization of lymphoid formations of the intestinal mucosa of meat rabbits

The development of rabbit breeding enables discovering new breeds with accelerated growth rates and higher productivity. With the increased growth and development of the somatic systems, the rate of the morphogenesis and organ formation, which secure the immune response, alter too. The gut-associated lymphoid tissue, which is a mainstay of the immune system, is involved in this process. The materials of the study were collected from 30 Hyplus rabbits of 1, 10, 20, 30, 60 and 90 days of age (5 rabbits make up each age group). The topography, mass and length of intestine, location and histological structure of the gutassociated lymphoid tissue were identified. The anatomic, morphometric, histologic and statistic methods were utilized.
