Essay

The expediency of studying this problem is enhanced by the need to overcome the contradictions between: the social significance of providing quality higher music and pedagogical education in Ukraine on the basis of a culturological approach and its real state; increasing interest in constructive experience in the formation of professional and pedagogical culture of future music teachers in Chinese universities and the lack of holistic research in this area; the expediency of using the advanced ideas of Chinese scientists on the organization of the process of forming the professional and pedagogical culture of future teachers of music and the lack of awareness of these ideas of Ukrainian researchers; the need for creative application in the Ukrainian higher school of promising experience of higher education institutions of the PRC in the formation of this competence in students of music and pedagogical profile and the lack of appropriate organizational and methodological support on this issue; the need for creative application of progressive ideas of Chinese experience in the formation of professional and pedagogical culture of future teachers of music in higher education institutions in China and their lack of research. For the first time: a comprehensive study of the problem of forming the professional and pedagogical culture of future teachers of music in higher education institutions in China; approaches to defining the essence of the concept of "professional and pedagogical culture" and "professional and pedagogical culture of the future teacher of musical art"; the structure of formation of professional and pedagogical culture of future music teachers in higher education institutions of the PRC; the Chinese experience of formation of professional and pedagogical culture of future teachers of musical art in institutions of higher education of the People's Republic of China is generalized. The prospects of creative use of the works of Chinese teachers on the problem of formation of professional and pedagogical culture of future teachers of music art in the higher school of Ukraine are outlined. The scientific provisions on the creative use of progressive ideas of the Chinese experience in the development of a new Ukrainian school in the direction of modernization of Ukrainian music and pedagogical education in accordance with the trends of professional and pedagogical culture of future music teachers were further developed.
