The scientific novelty of the dissertation is that it is the first attempt at a comprehensive study and critical analysis of analytical-theistic philosophy of A. Plantinga in the framework of Ukrainian philosophical science. There is no full-fledged study of this issue in modern Ukrainian philosophy, which, in turn, is the motive for the formation of a scientific approach to the study of religious philosophy by A. Plantinga and the emergence of research on this topic. The novelty of the results is as follows:
- Reconstructed a holistic methodological model of analytical-theistic philosophy of A. Plantinga, and found that the philosopher's philosophizing is based on the principles of logic, such as certainty, consistency, validity of thought, as well as faith in God, which determines the emergence of analytical-theistic approach in philosophy.
- The dialectical interaction of the cognitive process and the sense of divinity in cognitive activity and the formation of true beliefs is substantiated. The dissertation research demonstrates that the A / C model formulated by A. Plantinga is a representation of this combination of sense of divinity and cognitive process. This dialectical combination, in our opinion, reveals a new field of study in the framework of epistemology.
- The mechanism of religious determination of the cognitive process from the analytical-theistic position is revealed. Within the framework of the cognitive process, among two types of beliefs, basic, which do not decompose into elements, and non-basic, which are derived on the basis of basic, A. Plantinga singles out the sense of the divinity, which refers to basic beliefs. The study draws attention to the fact that the truth of human beliefs, in the cognitive process of which involves the sense of the divinity, is higher than in the case of a cognitive process focused on evolutionary naturalism, which is prone to adaptive beliefs.
- As a result of the analysis of the critique of naturalism by A. Plantinga, the anthropological interest of A. Plantinga, which is seen in his concept of evolutionary naturalism, has not been established by leading Western thinkers. Scientific research emphasizes the anthropological turn in A. Plantinga's philosophizing in the consideration of the relationship between evolutionism and naturalism, and the discovery of the place of the feeling of the divine in this relationship.
- The idea of A. Plantinga's use of the methodology of medieval realism was put forward, which is demonstrated by the fact that the analytical theist sees the universals in the properties that exist before things and independently of them. Argumentation is based on the position of A. Plantinga that God does not create properties, because it implies that there was a time when they did not exist, which means that such properties as omniscience, omnipotence and omnibenevolent, which God possesses, never existed, and since God is eternal, He could not exist without these properties. Thus, A. Plantinga considers numbers, propositions, qualities and states of affairs as universals, which exist regardless of real objects.
- For the first time, a correlation was made between the God's actualization of states of affairs in the concept of possible worlds by A. Plantinga and the entelechy of Aristotle. The scientific study emphasizes that just as Aristotle saw in the soul the entelechy of the human body, through which the body can not only have the ability to live but also to live, so A. Plantinga sees the potential existence of provisions, propositions, numbers and more, acquires real existence only through actualization by God, and this already represents an entelechy existence.
