Essay

The dissertation reviews the retrospective of the emergence and development of financial and legal regulation of the medical support of the police, within which the following historical periods are outlined: 1) the empirical period (V millennium BC - the IX century AD); 2) the period of the early Middle Ages (X - XVII centuries); 3) Era Peter I (the end of the XVII century - the beginning of the XVIII century); 4) the flowering of the Russian empire from the middle of the XVIII to the beginning of the XX century; 5) the Soviet period (the beginning of the twentieth century - the end of the twentieth century); 6) Formation and development of legal provision of health care in independent Ukraine - (the end of the twentieth century - the beginning of the XXI century). It is noted that medical care is only an integral part of the health care system. Namely, the concept of "health care" can also cover a domestic assistance or other measures that can be applied in providing medical care. The author emphasizes that medical relations are not only in the field of health care institutions that are subordinated to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, but also departmental, in particular those included in the field of management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. Such establishments provide medical services to the relevant categories of persons who are entitled to them, including police officers. It is argued that in the science of financial law, Ukraine has not yet been conducted by research devoted to a comprehensive analysis of financial and legal regulation of the medical provision of police. However, it is impossible not to take into account the key role of the state as a guarantor rights to the medical support of the police.
