The thesis is devoted to understanding the theoretical and legal bases of environmental activities. Proanalizuvano state of scientific research and historiography systematically studies the theoretical and legal bases of environmental activities. At present the problems of environmental activities is in the field of legal representatives of science and humanities specialists of related branches of knowledge, especially philosophy, history, economics, education, psychology, management (administration), political science and military science. Historiography theoretical legal principles covering environmental performance encyclopedic and reference, monographs, educational and scientific papers and forms (sources) law. Doctrinal developments devoted to the study of theoretical and legal bases of environmental activities are systematized by subject matter into blocks of knowledge, as a result of which works of theoretical and historical (theory of state and law, history of state and law), branch (constitutional law, civil law, administrative law, criminal law), intersectoral (environmental law), special and international orientation. Methodological means of comprehension of theoretical and legal bases of environmental activities are defined and substantiated, namely: worldview, philosophical, scientific, sociological and theoretical bases; methodological principles; research approaches; general methods of thinking, philosophical, general scientific, concrete scientific methods, the harmonious combination and application of which are focused on the comprehensive implementation of the tasks of scientific work, the construction of its conceptual apparatus and categorical series.
