Karpenko T. "The use of the landscape-technogenic component of the regional ecological network in tourism (on the example of the old industrial region of Kryvbas)"

The scientific substantiation of the inclusion of anthropogenic landscapes of various degrees of change in the national ecological network is an urgent but complex methodological problem. Actually, the possibility of using the landscape-technogenic component of the regional ecological network in the tourism activities of the old industrial regions of Ukraine and determines the relevance of our study. The main task of our study is to scientifically substantiate the need to include in the national ecological network those anthropogenic landscapes that have varying degrees of variability. At the same time, tourism is considered as an industry that has the highest potential to use the attractive features of anthropogenic landscapes. To perform this task you need: 1) to analyze modern ideas about the structure and functions of the national ecological network and the content of ecological and man-made tourism; 2) to identify the prerequisites and features of the development of tourism in the region of old industrial development (Dnepropetrovsk region); 3) assess the spatial organization of the network of tourist facilities of Kryvyi Rih; 4) use geoinformation modeling to optimize ecological and man-made tourism in Kryvyi Rih. The main hypothesis of the study is that the anthropogenic landscapes of different stages of technogenesis, being included in the national ecological network and used in ecological tourism, not only do not interfere with the bequest of "more natural" components of the NPF (nature reserve fund), but also contribute to their protection. and rational use on the principles of self-sufficiency. Therefore, the main goal of the author is to prove the expediency of using anthropogenic landscapes in ecological tourism, which are formed in the old industrial region of Kryvbas. The main object of study is anthropogenic landscapes of varying degrees of variability. The subject of the research is the process of formation of the regional ecological network of old industrial regions with the participation of anthropogenic landscapes and their use, in particular, in tourist activity. The main aspect of the novelty of our study should be a scientifically proven statement about the equivalence not only of the attractive potential of natural and man-made landscapes, but also their genetic relatedness, which is manifested in equal participation in socio-natural interaction. In the dissertation the author obtained the following results for the first time: - geospatial features of tourist resources of Kryvyi Rih are analyzed; - the place of historical landscapes of the industrial territory of Kryvbas in the system of new types of tourism is revealed; - the analysis of spelestological resources of the region is carried out; - the protected landscapes of Kryvyi Rih as a resource for tourism development are characterized; - the technique of elementary GIS for modeling of tourist activity is used; - developed measures for spatial optimization of tourist routes of Kryvyi Rih; - assessment of the possibilities of using tourist facilities of Kryvyi Rih in different types and directions of tourism. The practical significance of the work. The dissertation has a theoretical and applied nature, and its results can be used in various sections of modern geography and various studies of tourism. The dissertation was performed in the development of research topics of the Department of Ecology and Life Safety of Uman National University of Horticulture "Development of methodological approaches and practical mechanisms of ecologically balanced nature management in the field of agricultural production" (№ state registration - 0108U009772). Use of work results.1) The results of the dissertation research are implemented and used in the work of the municipal institution of culture "City Museum of Local Lore" of the Kryvyi Rih City Council (certificate of implementation № 66 from 24.02.2021); 2) The results of the dissertation research are implemented and used in the work of the municipal enterprise "Institute of City Development" in the development of measures to optimize the tourist routes of Kryvyi Rih (certificate of implementation № 269 from 24.02.2021); 3) The results of the dissertation research are implemented and used in the educational process at the Department of Tourism and Economics of Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University in the form of components of the disciplines "Tourist Resources of Ukraine", "Industrial Tourism" and "Tourist Local Lore" (certificate of approbation and implementation №09 / 1-161 / 3 of February 23, 2021); 4) The results of the dissertation research are introduced and used in the work of the travel agency "NOVAtour" FOP Okulovska Natalia Mykolayivna.
