Chumachenko D. Sociocultural and socio-legal factors of corrupt practices in modern Ukrainian society: a sociological analysis

The dissertation is devoted to solving problematic issues of corrupt practices in modern Ukrainian society based on the selection of socio-cultural and socio-legal factors of the emergence and reproduction of corrupt practices and practices and the development of a conceptual model of anti-corruption mechanisms. The paper systematizes scientific approaches to the study of corruption in the context of interdisciplinary research; the concept of "corruption" in modern sociological discourse is conceptualized; corruption as a social practice in the dimension of sociological reflection is considered; the conditions and specifics of institutionalization of corrupt practices in the context of a transitive society are analyzed; the factors and essential-typological features of corrupt practices in the conditions of social transformations in Ukraine are singled out; the experience and factors of corrupt practices in Ukrainian society are analyzed (based on the results of empirical research); the general conceptual model of system of anti-corruption mechanisms is developed and to define conditions of its practical realization.
