Bazan O. Administrative and Legal Foundations of the Activities of the Subjects of Environmental Protection

Thesis is devoted to the complex research of the issues concerning administrative and legal bases of the activities of subjects of environmental protection in Ukraine. The content of the natural environment as an object of administrative and legal protection is revealed. The essence of the concepts "environment", "surrounding medium", "protection", "legal protection", "environmental protection", "administrative and legal protection of the environment" is clarified, their features are defined and the author's definition of the concept of the natural environment as an object of administrative and legal protection as a system of social needs related to the safe use of all components of the natural environment is formulated, which implementation is carried out within the administrative and legal protection of each component (objects) of the environment and requires appropriate regulation, which is enshrined in administrative law.
