Essay

The object of research is modified concrete and fiber concrete of rigid road surfaces. The aim of the work is to develop the concretes for rigid pavements with increased durability and strength, due to the use of fiber, super-plasticizing admixture with hardening accelerator and active mineral additive of pozzolanic type. Research methodology - physical and mechanical characteristics of modified concretes and fiber concretes were determined in accordance with the current standards on certified equipment; the construction of nonlinear experimental statistical models was carried out using the specialized dialogue system COMPEX. Microscopic and X-ray structural analysis, analysis of technological damage to concrete and the search for optimal compositions of modified concretes using a set of ES-models are used. Results - rational compositions of fiber concrete of rigid road surfaces with increased strength, frost resistance and wear resistance were determined. The regularities and effectiveness of the impact on the properties and structure of modified concrete for hard road surfaces of a complex modifier, metakaolin and dispersed fiber reinforcement have been established; optimized compositions of polyfunctional modifiers to improve quality indicators at an early age of modified concrete and fiber-reinforced concrete; acquired further theoretical development and experimentally confirmed the possibility of improving the physical and mechanical properties of concretes of rigid road surfaces under the influence of a complex modifier of the polycarboxylate type, metakaolin and polypropylene fiber. “Technological specifications for preparation and application of modified concrete for road pavements with the use of polypropylene fiber” were developed which was approved by the Odessa subsidiary enterprise “Oblavtodor” of the state incorporated company “Roads of Ukraine”. The research results are used in the educational process at the Odessa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture.
