Essay

The object of research is the structure and properties of rubber crumb panels, which are designed to increase the insulating properties of enclosing structures of public buildings and structures. The purpose of the work is to increase the insulating properties of the structure due to the use of rubber crumb panels obtained from recycled raw materials. Research methods: tests were carried out according to European standards, standards of Croatia and Ukraine, as well as according to specially developed methods with the use of certified measuring equipment and test equipment. Novelty: the possibility of using rubber crumb panels as sound and heat insulation of buildings and structures while ensuring the required level of their physical and mechanical properties; regularities of propagation and attenuation of a sound wave in panels from a rubber crumb are defined; the influence of thickness and density of panels on sound and heat-insulating properties of constructions of buildings and constructions is established; the influence of granulometric composition of rubber crumb on sound and heat-insulating properties of constructions of buildings and constructions is revealed; the influence of granulometric composition of rubber crumb, thickness and density of the panel on physico-mechanical and properties of the structure of the panel from rubber crumb is established. Practical implementation: developed material compositions for rubber crumb panels with high levels of sound and thermal insulation properties and the obtained rubber crumb panels with a sufficient level of physical and mechanical properties for construction work. Experimental batch of rubber crumb panels manufactured by Gumi Impex (Varaždin, Croatia), which was implemented by Stas d.o.o (Dugo Selo, Croatia) during the installation of soundproof panels in the outer walls of the metalwork plant to reduce noise from the building in the environment. The research results are used in the educational process at the University "North" (Croatia) and the Odessa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture (Ukraine).
