Maksymovych A. Administrative and Legal Framework for Disciplinary Liability of Employees of the State Bureau of Investigation

The work studies the administrative and legal regulatory framework for the disciplinary liability of the employees of the State Bureau of Investigation. Disciplinary liability of SBI employees is defined as the system of disciplinary actions, established by law provisions, in the form of disciplinary penalty, prescribed by law, applied by the competent State authorities (their officials) to SBI employees for committing disciplinary misdemeanour in order to ensure the restoration of violated rights and freedoms in the field of official legal relations. It is characterised by the specific features formulated and described in the work. Disciplinary liability of SBI employees is compared with other types of legal liability (administrative, criminal, civil) and disciplinary liability of SBI employees is proved to be independent, special and specific, with its own set of normative, factual and procedural grounds that enable to distinguish the types of liability. The specificities of disciplinary liability of SBI employees are formulated, distinguishing it from other types of legal liability.
