The dissertation is a qualifying scientific work, where a holistic scientific concept that reveals the features of immunity as an element of the legal status of a judge is presented for the first time. Chapter I "Immunity of a Judge: General Legal Characteristics" comprehensively describes the modern scientific concept of judicial immunity in Ukraine, traces the development of scientific ideas about the immunity of a judge in domestic jurisprudence, developes a classification of immunities in law, the place of a judge’s immunity in it.
