Maksymenko N. Suspicion in the criminal process of Ukraine

The thesis for the scientific degree of Doctor of Philosophy in 08 Law on specialty 081 Law. – Institute of Law of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Kyiv, 2021. The thesis provides the new results in the form of scientific conclusions on suspicion in criminal proceedings, identifies enforcement issues that arise during the notification of suspicion, new suspicion, refutation and appeal of the report of suspicion, as well as the search for possible solutions. The formulated scientific results on the improvement of the criminal procedural legislation of Ukraine in terms of grounds and procedural order for the notification of suspicion, new suspicion, refutation and appeal of the notification of suspicion have both theoretical and applied significance. The author introduces the approach to the historical periodization of the formation and development of the institution of suspicion in the criminal procedural legislation.
