Essay

In the dissertation it is substantiated the relevance of the introduction of group activities of children in the system of preschool education in Ukraine (late XX – early XXI century). The conceptual apparatus of research is defined: object, subject, purpose, chronological limits, tasks, methods, source base, scientific novelty, practical value. The dissertation presents methodological approaches – general philosophical, general scientific (systemic, culturological and axiological approaches), specific scientific (historical-comparative methods, as well as chronological and retrospective approaches). The research is based on the general scientific principles of scientificity, systematics, problem analysis (objectivity of studying phenomena, unity of theory and practice, unity of historical and logical). General scientific, comparative-analytical, search-bibliographic, historical-retrospective, historical-chronological, historical-comparative research methods are offered. The genesis of children's group activity (late XX – early XXI century) in the context of pedagogical discourse provided a thorough study of historical and pedagogical sources: regulations, archival sources, monographs, dissertations, periodicals, textbooks and more.
