In the dissertation at the monographic level the theoretical and praxeological bases of a technique of investigation of mass riots are investigated. Based on the system analysis, the approach to the construction of forensic characteristics of mass riots is argued, according to which the following elements are distinguished in its structure: the method of committing a criminal offense, the situation of mass riots, the subject of criminal encroachment, traces of the offense, the victim, the offender.
