Essay

The dissertation work is devoted to the study of the chemical interaction of doxycycline and amoxicillin with metal salts that are part of mineral, drinking waters and antacids, the development of methods for quality control of doxycycline and amoxicillin in its combined dosage forms with clavulanic acid. The possibility of formation of stable chelated complexes of iron (III), aluminum, magnesium and calcium salts with doxycycline and amoxicillin in simulated conditions of simultaneous administration has been scientifically substantiated and experimentally proved. The effect of the presence of mineral / drinking water and salts of selected metals on the release kinetics of doxycycline from capsules and amoxicillin from tablets against control dissolution profiles in vitro was studied. A method for estimating complex formation using the method of electroimpedance spectroscopy has been developed and the processes of interaction of doxycycline and amoxicillin with selected salts have been studied with its help, and stability constants have been determined. Methods of quality control of solid dosage forms of doxycycline and amoxicillin have been developed.
