The dissertation presents a theoretical generalization and a new solution to the scientific problem in pediatric dentistry, which is to increase the effectiveness of preventive and therapeutic measures in overweight primary school-aged children with chronic catarrhal gingivitis through substantiation, development, optimization, and implementation of preventive and therapeutic measures taking into account the body weight, hygienic condition of the oral cavity, and inflammation in the periodontal tissues.
