The dissertation is dedicated to the theoretical generalization of the problem of future specialists of theatrical art professional training at USA universities, that allowed to substantiate the methodological principles of future specialists of theatrical art professional training at USA universities and to explore the features of the system of future specialist of theatrical art professional training at USA universities. Based on the creative usage of progressive ideas and practical experience of American universities, the research outcome is developing scientific and methodological recommendations for future specialists of theatrical art professional training in Ukrainian universities. The purpose of the study is to carry out the complex analysis of peculiarities of future specialists in theatrical art professional training system functioning in the USA, and to distinguish the perspective experience of peculiarities future specialists in theatrical art professional training at USA universities for the implementation of this experience into the Ukrainian universities practice. The scientific novelty of the obtained results is that: – for the first time, a comparative analysis of the system of professional training of future theater professionals at universities in the United States and Ukraine was carried out; the peculiarities of professional training of future specialists of theatrical art in Ukraine and the USA are investigated; methodological principles and approaches to the implementation of professional training of future theatrical specialists in American theory and practice are determined; the standard and distinctive features of professional training of future theater professionals in the United States are systematized; recommendations for improving the training of future theater professionals in Ukrainian universities based on the creative USA of progressive ideas and practical experience of American universities are singled out and developed; – the essence of the concepts “professional training”, “future specialists in theatrical art” and “future specialists in theatrical art professional training” in the context of Ukrainian and American scientific discourse is specified; – theory and practice (content, forms, and methods) of teaching disciplines related to future specialists in theatrical art professional competence formation in Ukrainian higher education institutions, taking into account the American experience, as well as systematization of scientific works of Ukrainian and foreign scientists on future specialists in theatrical art professional training are further elaborated. The practical significance of the obtained results is that the recommendations for the implementation of the generalized in this study American experience of professional training of future theater professionals, including experience in the development of motor skills and training of actors and teachers of theater schools were provided; in order to ensure the quality of education, increase professional competence and competitiveness of future theater professionals, directions for improving the standards of professional training of art professionals are proposed, in particular through clarification and expansion of general, special competencies and planned learning outcomes; proposed and specified which American techniques of choreographic training should be introduced into the system of professional training of future specialists in theatrical art of Ukraine. The manual “Dancesport. College Ballroom dance course guide” and the proposed scientific and methodological recommendations will serve as a meaningful, organizational and methodological potential in the system of undergraduate, basic and postgraduate art education in domestic universities. The content of theoretical and methodological sections will serve as a thorough addition to the educational programs and curricula of professional training of future specialists in theatrical art of Ukraine.
