The dissertation presents a solution to an important scientific and practical task, which consists in deepening theoretical principles, the development of methodological approaches and the development of scientific and practical recommendations for managing the financial stability of the bank in the conditions of turbulence of the Ukrainian economy.
The study conducted a morphological analysis of scientists' approaches to the definition of the Bank's financial stability, the definitions and types of turbulence of the economy were determined and established that the financial stability of the bank is the qualitative characteristic of the financial condition, which is based on the continuous and variable process of formation, distribution and use of financial resources, which is noted by the correspondence of actual values of financial indicators normative.
The dissertation proposes a classification of financial stability factors of the bank by sources of their origin, which differs from existing generalized grouping of factors. Internal factors of the bank's financial stability are divided into 3 groups: managerial, financial and technological. Among the external factors of the Bank's financial stability are 4 groups: economic, political, competitive and social.
Taking into account the types of economic turbulence (boom, decline, crisis, rise), a conceptual model of management of financial stability of the bank, which objects management is developed, determines the process of formation, distribution and use of financial resources characterized by continuity and variability
In order to eliminate disproportions, which in the conditions of turbulence of the economy arise in the process of formation, distribution and use of financial resources, the dissertation proposes a scientific approach to managing the financial stability of the bank, based on the process model and provides for the application of financial technologies, taking into account acceptable benefits and risks.
On the basis of the method of analysis of hierarchies and expert survey of top managers of attractive banking institutions it has been established that in the conditions of turbulence of the economy is an acceptable methodological approach to managing financial stability, which corresponds to a number of criteria: based on public financial statements; aims to perform in-depth financial analysis; takes into account all factors influencing financial stability; considering the continuity of the movement of financial resources; provides a dynamic approach to financial stability management; takes into account the level of adaptation of the bank to the turbulence of the economy.
The dissertation introduced a methodical approach to the assessment of the management of financial stability of the bank, which, unlike the existing ones, in determining its static level takes into account the deviation of the actual values of financial indicators from normative, which makes it possible to assess liquidity, financial reliability, business activity, management and risk of banking activity.
The dissertation proposes a methodical approach to the strategic control of the dynamics of financial stability of banks based on retrospective analysis of short and long periods of time, which makes it possible to assess the static and dynamic features of the formation, distribution and use of financial resources of the bank, to identify problems of its financial condition and find out reserves of financial stability.
For prompt response to static disproportions in the formation, distribution and used financial resources of the bank that arise in real time mode, a methodical approach to operational control of the financial stability of the bank is proposed, which differs from the existing installation of the permissible interval of financial indicators variability. This allows you to determine the most effective instruments for managing financial stability of banks.
The dissertation substantiates the necessity and expediency of managing the financial stability of the bank in the conditions of turbulence of the economy based on strategic maps. A distinctive feature of the cartographic approach to the management of financial stability of the bank from existing (finance, clients, training) is the additional selection of components: internal processes and the provision of general and local management of financial stability of the bank. This allows you to consider the management strategy of the Bank's financial stability as a process of implementing a certain sequence of measures, as well as pre-prepared variants of decisions in the event of significant external or internal changes that would ultimately provide an increase in business activity and profitability; minimization of riskiness; Maintenance of liquidity and financial reliability of the Bank in the conditions of turbulence of the economy.
