The dissertation is devoted to increasing the effectiveness of treatment of inflammatory periodontal diseases in patients with nasal breathing disorders based on the study of clinical and laboratory features of the course and justification and development of targeted therapy and prevention of the disease. For the first time, clinical and laboratory studies of periodontal tissues in patients with nasal breathing disorders, which revealed the peculiarities of generalized periodontitis depending on the type and duration of rhinopathology. Scientific data on the influence of reduced functional activity of salivary glands on the hygienic condition of the oral cavity, the rate of plaque formation and the level of halitosis have been supplemented. Experimental studies have shown the high therapeutic and prophylactic efficacy of oral gel containing mummy, extracts of yarrow, sage and echinacea, the use of which in rats stabilized anti-inflammatory markers of periodontal tissue, markers of mineral, energy metabolism and antiradical protection systems. to reduce the degree of atrophic processes in the alveolar process in experimental periodontitis. A new method of treatment of generalized periodontitis in nasal breathing disorders has been developed and substantiated for practical implementation, and a treatment-and-prophylactic complex has been tested, including a specially developed Mumie gel, vitamin E, Lavandosept toothpaste and SP rinsing herbal mouthwash. ), as well as the use of oxygen cocktails 2 times a week. Clinical and laboratory studies have shown that comprehensive treatment of patients with generalized periodontitis of primary and first degree on the background of nasal breathing disorders has reduced the intensity of inflammation, stop dystrophic changes, normalize biochemical markers of oral fluid and nonspecific immunity.
