Essay

The thesis aims to the study of discussion as a teaching method in Ukrainian language lessons, revealing its effectiveness in building the competence of oral dialogic speech in lower secondary school students. The thesis presents the results of theoretical and experimental research of the process of building of Ukrainian communicative competence in lower school students using the method of educational discussion in the conditions of dialogic learning. Dialogic interaction in linguodidactics, oral speech as a text, its textual and dalogical features, analysis of works of Ukrainian and foreign methodologists, linguodidactics related to the study of the method of discussion and its effectiveness in the building of communicative competence in Ukrainian lessons are considered. Oral dialogic competence of lower school students as a didactic problem is considered, the principles of formation of Ukrainian conditional dialogic competence are clarified, among which: the principle of cooperativeness, communicative direction of learning, independent thought, the principle of integrative branches of science and interdisciplinary relations, activity principle life and communicative experience of students.
