In the dissertation "Formation of social skills of students of agricultural institutions of higher education" the theoretical substantiation is carried out and the technique of formation of social skills of students of agricultural institutions of higher education is experimentally checked. The evolution of ideas of formation of social skills of the person is reconstructed, as a result of which eight stages within which special interpretations and ways of the decision of the formulated pedagogical problem are fixed are allocated. The essence and structure of the concept "social skills of students of agricultural institutions of higher education" are revealed; grouped and constructed a cluster of social skills, namely: communication skills; leadership; emotion management; personal development skills; valeo-ecological skills. In the dissertation research the structure of social skills of students of agricultural institutions of higher education includes: cognitive, emotional and conative components. Accordingly, a system of criteria and indicators of methods of their diagnosis has been developed. The generalization of domestic and foreign experience is carried out, the main ways of formation of social skills of students of agrarian institutions of higher education are established. The selection of pedagogical conditions for the formation of social skills of students of agricultural institutions of higher education, substantiated and shown ways to implement them. The method of modeling is applied, the model of formation of social skills of students of agrarian institutions of higher education is presented and experimentally checked. methods, forms, means, diagnostics, final result and possibility of its correction). Generalized data on the formation of social skills of students of agricultural higher education institutions of control and experimental groups indicate that the implemented method gave a positive dynamics of social skills, namely: in control groups significant changes in the level of soft skills are not recorded, while the percentage of students in experimental groups with a high level has increased.
