Yakovenko O. Development of composition and technology of solid dosage form with glycine with sedative activity

The thesis is devoted to the theoretical and experimental substantiation of the composition, development of technology and methods of quality control of the drug of mild sedative action with glycine and magnesium salts in the form of pressed lozenges, which have a number of advantages: ease of use and high patient compliance, no need to drink water while administration, long stay of the drug in the mouth, rapid absorption, etc. According to the results of the pharmaco-technological research using the method of mathematical planning (ANOVA), the optimal quality composition of compressed lozenges with glycine and magnesium citrate was selected: filler – isomalt (GalenIQ ™ 721), dry binder – copovidone (Plasdone ™ S-630), lubricant / sliding substance – glyceryl dibehenate (Compritol® 888 CG ATO), which provides sufficient pharmaco-technological properties of the mixture of lozenges, mechanical characteristics of pressed lollipops, their resorption time.
