Kovalenko Y. Formation of Managerial Competence of Future Managers in Sports Activities in the Process of Professional Training

The dissertation is a theoretical and experimental study of the problem of formation of managerial competence of future managers in sports activities in the process of professional training. Due to the analysis of domestic and foreign researches on the problem of forming the competence of specialists when being educated, it was found that the main conceptual idea of the competence approach is to focus the content of educational and professional programs on the formation of those professional competencies required by future professional activities. The study of normative documents allowed us to single out the professional responsibilities performed by the manager in sports activities (solving organizational and managerial situations, promoting the organization of competitions, controlling and ensuring that the physical culture and sports becomes effective, etc.); competencies that should be possessed by a specialist in the field of physical culture and sports (managerial, communicative, personal, professional, etc.); functions and tasks of professional activity of sports manager (planning and organizing activity, regulating, motivating, informing, communicating, controlling, etc.).
