Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the development of new methods of pharmacoeconomic analysis of medicines used in assisted reproductive technologies (ART) for infertility treatment, taking into account evidence-based medicine, development of methods for assessing the availability of ART schemes for the population and information on the rational use of innovative medicines on the basis of «managed access agreements» in the implementation of the medical technology assessment system in Ukraine. Ukraine has approved the «State Strategy for the Implementation of the State Policy of Providing the Population with Medicines for the period up to 2025», which states that improving the availability of medicines is an integral part of health care to improve the quality of life of patients. The access to innovative medicines is an important socio-economic component of effective infertility treatment, the prevalence of which is increasing. Since 2019, Ukraine has been actively implementing medical technology assessment systems for the rational use of budget funds for effective evidence-based medicine and cost-effective medicines, so it is necessary to develop information support of the methodology «Controlled Access Agreement» for innovative medicines.The methodology of conducting a survey and questionnaire on pharmaceutical care in ART has been developed. The total sample consisted of 186 pharmacists who studied in pre-certification cycles, internship and specialization cycles in specialty «Organization and Management of Pharmacy» and «General Pharmacy». It has been established that there is a need to inform about the pharmaceutical component of ovulation stimulation protocol schemes for pregnancy in order to ensure adequate access to patients.
