Vakhovskyi V. Features of teleradiographic indicators determined according to Bjork, Sassouni and Jarabak methods in young Ukrainians with orthognathic occlusion

The dissertation is devoted to the study of the features of teleradiographic indicators in young Ukrainians with an orthognathic bite. The limits of the percentile range of teleradiographic indicators obtained in Ukrainian boys and girls with an orthognathic bite, used in the Bjork, Sassouni and Jarabak methods, can serve as standards for these indicators and allow to eliminate the phenomenon of hypo- or overdiagnosis when dentists use standard average indicators. Using regression analysis, the development of models of teleradiographic indicators of craniofacial structures allows to determine individual metric parameters of the upper and lower jaws, intermaxillary parameters and indicators of the position of teeth and the profile of soft facial tissues in Ukrainian boys and girls. Based on the simulation results, the diagnostic computer program "BjoJarNorm" is proposed, which enables dentists to quickly calculate individual necessary teleradiographic parameters.
