The study represents theoretical generalization and improvement of pharmacotherapy of epilepsy and other convulsive conditions and consists of the experimental substantiation of the feasibility of using new original thiazolidine derivatives, namely the leader compound 5-[(Z)-(4-nitrobenzylidene)]-2-(thiazol-2-ylimino) -4-thiazolidinone (compound with laboratory code Les-6222) as a new promising anticonvulsant.
