The dissertation work is devoted to experimental substantiation of new methods of therapy of cognitive, anxiety and depressive disorders by application of nonapeptide NP9 with intranasal route of administration. Nonapeptide is a modified terminal fragment of neuropeptide Y (NPY) – a biologically active peptide involved in the implementation of a large number of biological processes in the human body. The structure of the nonapeptide was proposed taking into account the importance of the C-terminal region of NPY and the experience of developing its modified fragments by other researchers. The modified peptide must, at least in part, have the properties of NPY, or have its own biological activity.
