Polishchuk O. Complex improvement of functional characteristics of intraocular lenses

Preparation was held in the biomedical engineering department of National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute", Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The dissertation is devoted to the solution of an actual scientific and applied problem – creation of a new intraocular lens with improved properties. This made it possible, theoretically and experimentally, to substantiate the methods of improving optical characteristics quality and deprivation of developed technically by intra and postoperative complications. The main content of the dissertation research is presented in four sections, which are devoted to: (i) identification of intra and postoperative problems related to the intraocular lenses design; (ii) identification of physico-mechanical defects at the dislocation and development of secondary cataracts stage; (iii) optical calculation and research, development of methods eliminating optical parasitic phenomena methods; (iii) intraocular lens development, which characteristics would take into account the elimination of optical and intra / postoperative disadvantages.
