Essay

The thesis is devoted to the development of theoretical, methodological and applied principles for improving the financial and economic performance of agricultural enterprises. A new perspective on the interpretation of the theoretical characteristics of the essence of the financial and economic performance of the enterprise as the final results of management is proposed, which determine the parameters of the effectiveness of the development of its strategic business processes and form the resource base for the reproduction and increase of the capital of the enterprise, increasing the level of its competitiveness on the agricultural market, formation of extended reproduction and sustainable development processes. A new scientific and methodical approach to substantiation of the mechanism of formation of financial and economic performance of agricultural enterprises has been developed based on its aggregation from such structural and functional components as the institutional and regulatory basis, organizational and management subsystem, analytical and monitoring apparatus and production and technological unit, synergistic the interaction of which ensures coordination of the financial and economic interests of agricultural market participants, the reproduction of financial and economic resources and the increase in the scale of the equity capital of agricultural enterprises. Methodical approaches to the analysis of the financial and economic results of enterprise activity have been improved. It was established that further improvement of the financial and economic results of the management of agricultural enterprises is hindered by: their unstable profitability and cost-effectiveness; a small share of other operating and other incomes, and, therefore, dependence on one type of activity; high level of cost of production; low profitability, especially of small business entities; low level of liquidity and solvency; low return on capital, turnover of current assets and return on equity capital. A scientific-methodical approach to the justification of the applied management mechanism for the formation of financial and economic performance of agricultural enterprises has been developed. The methodological and applied provisions for the development of tools for increasing the incomes of agricultural enterprises are substantiated. Applied policy tools for increasing the efficiency and profitability of agricultural enterprises have been developed.
