The dissertation demonstrates that the innovative activity of teachers of natural and mathematical disciplines in Ukraine in the second half of the 20th century and the first quarter of the 21st century is a socio-pedagogical system whose functioning is determined by the historically determined goals of general secondary education. They are reflected in normative documents of various levels on issues of general secondary education and the management of institutions of general secondary education. Under the influence of the social order of society and pedagogy as a science, the goal of developing the innovative activity of teachers of natural and mathematical disciplines in Ukraine is specified in the tasks that determine the content of innovative activity, including technologies, forms, methods, and teaching tools.
