A literary analysis of the current state of research in the field of providing pharmaceutical care to children with paralytic syndromes who need palliative care was conducted. Approaches to determining the socio-pharmaceutical component of palliative care for children are summarized. The purpose, tasks, objects and results of the research are formulated. The theoretical and practical principles of organization and provision of palliative care for children are analyzed. The peculiarities of providing palliative care to children and the medical and pharmaceutical characteristics of the group of diseases "Cerebral palsy and other paralytic syndromes" were studied. Approaches to pharmacocorrection of symptoms in children with paralytic syndromes were investigated. The role of the pharmacist in providing palliative care in global practice was studied. The role and functions of the pharmacist in providing palliative care to children in Ukraine are substantiated. Epidemiological indicators of life-threatening diseases in children requiring palliative care were studied. Approaches were studied and the number of children with paralytic syndromes requiring palliative care was calculated. The current state of social, medical and pharmaceutical support for children with paralytic syndromes who need palliative care is analyzed. The most important needs of the child and the family are determined. The opinions of healthcare professionals regarding the role of the pharmacist in providing palliative care to children were studied. The main tasks and functions of pharmacists in the provision of palliative services have been formed. The level of awareness of pharmaceutical specialists of Ukraine regarding the organization and provision of palliative care was studied. Approaches to increase the level of theoretical knowledge and practical skills of pharmacists in providing palliative care have been developed. The clinical and anamnestic indicators of a sample group of children with paralytic syndromes requiring palliative care were analyzed. The most severe symptoms and needs of children with paralytic syndromes were determined for further planning of the scope of pharmaceutical services. A clinical and economic analysis of pharmacotherapy of children with paralytic syndromes was carried out. Availability indicators and marketing research of medicines for pharmacotherapy of children with paralytic syndromes were studied. A list of medicinal products for the treatment of epileptic and spastic syndromes and medicinal products for the regulation of bowel function has been created for the purpose of inclusion in the reimbursement lists of medicinal products. Methodological recommendations for improving the pharmaceutical provision of children with paralytic syndromes during the provision of palliative care have been developed and substantiated.
