Essay

The dissertation as the completed scientific work provides the solution of the urgent scientific and applied task, which consists in justification of complex means parameters for personal protection of the coke and chemical industry workers based on the individual risks of danger assessment at workplaces, which is a condition for the selection of appropriate protective devices indicators taking into account the users’ faces anthropometric features. In the dissertation there was improved the determining anthropometric points on the human faces method, based on the analysis of typical coke chemical industry workers photographs, which consists of the active face shapes models construction, calculating the anthropometric points coordinates due to the triangulation of image areas based on the shape combination usage and the comparison informative signs fragments method of the constructed histograms. Based on the assumption, the integral face image has the same features as the transformed digital image, with the help of appropriate programs, the algorithm for the numerical determination of informative features has been improved, which makes it possible to increase the calculating speed of the image pixel template by up to 20% compared to the best Three-Patch and Four-Patch analogues while maintaining high efficiency of use in the face recognition process. Based on the obtained anthropometric data on 400 typical personal protective equipment users aged 20 to 55 years determined by their face length and width distribution, it was created the anthropometric features catalog to design filter respirators, which is the basis of a complex personal protective equipment for users. To protect against harmful aerosol systems, it is proposed a technology with an impregnated fibrous chemisorbent of acid gases production with an indication of the absorption capacity "triggering" (hereinafter - "Ecofil-1(i)"), which consists of two layers: the first - chemisorption and the second - indicator, which are made by impregnating carrier cloths with reagent solutions of a given concentration. As a result of the done preparatory work on the catalog creation of typical features of users' faces and the harmful factors identification at the workplaces of coke chemical plants, a complex means of individual workers protection was developed, which consists of a balaclava made of elastic material that covers the head, lower part of the face and the neck, connected with the body of the filtering half-mask against gases and aerosols with placed protective devices for the protection of hearing organs is provided.
