Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the study of the peculiarities of the condition and correction of dental health in children who constantly live in the conditions of the polluted ecosystem of the cross-border territories of the Upper Tysa region, taking into account the intensity of the main dental diseases and the level of enamel resistance, increasing the effectiveness of the complex of medical and preventive measures in order to reduce the socio-economic load. Сlinical observations have shown that the proposed differentiated approach to prevention contributes to the formation of enamel resistance, thereby preventing the development of tooth caries. The endemic cross-border territory of the Upper Tysa with a lack of bioactive microelements in the biosphere is practically unchangeable, therefore the prevention of major dental diseases is a constant medical and sanitary problem of this region. And the comprehensiveness of the approach in carrying out preventive measures to solve the issues of communal dental health should be mandatory and a priority. In our opinion, as a joint project in solving the problems of dental health of children in the Upper Tysa region, it is necessary to use the results of joint activities with foreign colleagues and partners, in order to further develop ecologically oriented programs for the prevention of dental diseases, which fill a health niche that is not fully provided at the state level. For the endogenous prevention of dental caries in these children, we recommend the use of a functional food product - general strengthening phytotea "DentesVita", enriched not only with a fluorine-iodine component, but also in combination with its phyto-components, which contain biologically active compounds - flavonoids, which have the necessary antioxidant property, which is extremely important for a region with a high potential for environmental pollution. When using phytotea, it is advisable to take into account the level of enamel caries resistance, biochemical indicators of oral fluid and hygienic indices of the oral cavity. The obtained results of the study made it possible to substantiate the ways of increasing the effectiveness of dental caries prevention, taking into account the levels of enamel resistance, based on the assessment of factors affecting its formation and the justified use of dental caries prevention tools aimed at increasing enamel caries resistance.
