Chervinko M. V. Legal and organizational -tactical support of child-friendly criminal proceedings. Qualifying scientific work on the rights of the manuscript. A thesis for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (081 - Law). – Lviv State University of Internal Affairs, Lviv, 2023. The the theoretical foundations, legal and organizational-tactical support of child-friendly criminal proceedings are examined in the thesis. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the fact that the thesis is the first comprehensive study of ensuring child-friendly criminal proceedings which allow us to make proposals for improving the legislation and recommendations for practical application. The state of scientific development, establishing the essence, historical origins, international standards and foreign experience of child-friendly criminal proceedings are analysed in Chapter 1 «Theoretical foundations of child-friendly criminal proceedings». Legal guarantees of the child's rights observance in criminal proceedings, peculiarities of legal regulation of the child’s participation in criminal proceedings are examinesd in Chaper 2 «Legal support of the child-friendly criminal proceedings in Ukraine» In Chapter 3 «Organizational and tactical support of child-friendly criminal proceedings in Ukraine» the organizational and tactical principles of conducting separate investigative (search) actions with the child’s participation, the organizational and tactical principles of using «green rooms» as an element of criminal proceedings, friendly to the child and training of investigators, inquirers, prosecutors, defense attorneys, judges, psychologists and probation officers to work with children-participants in criminal proceedings. The syllabus has been developed and it has been proposed to supplement the educational and professional program (081 - Law) of training specialists of the first (bachelor's) level with a selective educational discipline «Criminal proceedings, friendly to the child».
