Essay

The dissertation is devoted to deepening the theoretical provisions and substantiating the methodological provision with economic stimulation of managers at the strategic level of enterprise management. The object of the study is the process of economic stimulation of the activities of managers at the strategic level of enterprise management. The subject of the research is a set of theoretical provisions, methods, methodological approaches, methodological support for the economic stimulation of the activities of managers at the strategic level of management, that is, top managers of enterprises. The interpretation of the definition of «economic stimulation» in relation to managers of the strategic level of enterprise management is generalized using content and morphological analysis. The theoretical provisions of economic stimulation of top managers have been improved, the novelty of which is taking into account the objective aspect of the results of business entities, which is characterized by the use of the economic potential of enterprises, and the subjective aspect. One of the elements of economic stimulation of top managers is considered - material reward, in particular, long-term bonuses and existing types of programs for long-term bonuses of top managers. The main forms, tools, approaches and regulatory support for economic stimulation of managers at the strategic level of enterprise management are summarized. The differences between the incentive system of top managers and other hired employees of the enterprise were considered, it was found that top managers can directly influence the final results of the enterprise, also for managers of the strategic management level, a longer period for which their activity is evaluated is characteristic. The main legislative acts were analyzed, which showed that top managers have a special legal status, different from the legal status of other employees. The thesis is developed a methodical approach to stimulating the work of top managers based on an objective assessment of the results of the work of business entities regarding the use of economic resources. Proposed and developed methodical support for determining the priority qualitative factors of stimulation the work of managers at the strategic level of enterprise management. Its advantages are taking into account in the factors of the subjective aspect of economic stimulation the priority of partial latent factors of the economic stimulation of top managers, calculating the integral qualitative indicator of the economic stimulation of top managers according to its subjective aspect, which will allow determining the satisfaction of managers with the applied economic stimulation and harmonizing his interests subject and object. Reasoned methodological support for determining the priority qualitative factors of economic stimulation of the work of top managers. The novelty and difference from the existing one consists in: content of qualitative factors; analysis of the structure of the researched set of arrangement of experts' answers with the help of descriptive statistics tools; assessment of the closeness of the interrelationship of qualitative factors of economic stimulation of the work of top managers in the dynamics; assessment of consistency of experts' answers in dynamics; identification of latent factors of economic stimulation of the work of top managers; analytical method of developing an integral qualitative indicator of economic stimulation of the work of top managers. It is proposed in the dissertation the use of a complex integral indicator of economic stimulation to determine the percentages of bonuses for top managers, which characterizes its objective aspect by the integral indicator of the use of economic resources and investment and innovation gains, and the integral indicator of satisfaction of top managers with the volume and valence of stimulation by the subjective aspect, with a weighted proportional distribution of integral indicators of 80 by 20, which is traditional for socio-economic phenomena. Justified construction of a scale of economic stimulation of managers of the strategic level of enterprise management, the advantages of which are basing on integral indicators of the results of enterprises’ activity regarding the use of economic resources and taking into account qualitative factors of satisfaction with the applied economic stimulation, taking into account the laws of their distribution. The practical significance of the obtained results implemented LLC “STATUS STROY LTD” (reference № 58 from 22.03.2021). Implemented in the educational process Semyon Kuznets KNUE of bachelors specialty 073 «Management», educational component «Human Resource Management» in the course of practical classes in 2021-2021. And 2021-2022 (reference № 22/86-02-71/1 from 30.06.2022).
