Dissertation for the Doctor of Philosophy degree in specialty 081 "Law" (08 - "Law"). - Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. – Kyiv, 2023. The dissertation is a comprehensive study of the organizational and legal principles of the High Council of Justice, in which relevant issues of the functioning of this body of judicial governance are resolved, considering the conditions of the modern stage of the state formation. The subject of the author's analysis are issues of the legal nature, status and functions of the High Council of Justice, its composition and order of formation, as well as systemic connections that ensure its sustainable functioning. The key segments of the activity of the High Council of Justice are separately studied and the prospects for its development are outlined. The provisions on the complex, multi-component and complex legal nature of the High Council of Justice, which includes management, control, representative components, which in their interaction reflect the balance of interests of various institutions of state power in the functioning of the independent judiciary in the state, are substantiated.
