Essay

Purpose: deepening and analytical substantiation of organizational and economic approaches to the peculiarities of the modern development of ecological tourism and development of directions for the implementation of the ecolocations’ geoportal model of innovative tourist products with a focus on achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. Object: trends and prospects for the development of tourist activity in the conditions of changing socio-economic and environmental priorities in the market of tourist products. Research methods: statistical-economic, abstract-logical, monographic, economic-mathematical and formalization, comparative analysis, forecasting, cartographic method. Theoretical results: are reflected in the conceptual approaches, methodological foundations and conclusions of the dissertation research, which provide an opportunity to deepen the methodology, theory and complex of knowledge, theory, methodology of the managing ecotourism activities process as an integral component of the post-industrial development of society. The practical results consist in the possibility of using the results and recommendations of the dissertation research in the process of organizing and managing ecotourism activities. Scientific novelty: the definition of "ecological tourism" has been improved in the conditions of the socio-economic situation’s variability, a methodical approach to determining the economic effectiveness of the ecological tourism implementation, the classification of ecological tourism types; further development of the justification of the organization`s financial support mechanism, the system of principles of ecological tourism, strategic directions of the development of ecotourism and ecocultural activities, the geoportal model of ecolocations at the regional level, organizational and economic proposals for the creation of the ecological and recreational complex "Renaissance" have been received. Degree of implementation: Zhytomyr Regional Tourist Information Center, "Patriot" travel agency, Polissia national university. Effectiveness: the research results contribute to the development of ecotourism activities in accordance with modern challenges and Sustainable Development Goals. Scope of use: Department of Culture and Tourism of the Zhytomyr Regional State Administration, tourist organizations, territorial communities, scientific institutions of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, institutions of higher education of an economic and tourism profile.
