The dissertation research is devoted to the issues of administrative and legal control over compliance with labor legislation and labor protection requirements. The author proposes to define public relations in the field of control over compliance with labor legislation and occupational safety and health requirements as a administrative and legal relations of a complex nature related to the use of administrative and legal instruments (methodology), which is implemented by monitoring and verifying the status of compliance with labor legislation and occupational safety and health requirements and is based on the use of a modern risk assessment system carried out by authorized public administration authority in terms of establishing factual data on controlled objects to determine their compliance with legal requirements to prevent and correct possible deviations and consequences of illegal activities that impede the functioning of the occupational safety and health system.
