Essay

Despite the difficult situation in Ukrainian education caused by the full-scale war, the implementation of the comprehensive reform "New Ukrainian School", which involves the transformation of secondary education, continues. One of the main agents of change is the teacher, therefore there is an undeniable need to modernize the system of higher pedagogical education and ensure high-quality multi-level training of specialists, which is possible only under the condition of partnership of secondary and higher education institutions. In such a situation, the pedagogical support of future teachers becomes especially relevant, because it increases the quality of training of future teachers, forms their resilience, prevents the outflow from the profession and ensures the connection between the school and the university. The purpose of the study is to substantiate and analyze the theoretical, normative and practical principles of pedagogical support for the professional development of future teachers in Great Britain. According to the topic and purpose, the following research tasks are defined: 1. To determine the state of development of the scientific problem and the conceptual and terminological apparatus of the study of pedagogical support for the professional development of future teachers in Great Britain. 2. To characterize the system of training future teachers for professional activity in Great Britain. 3. To investigate the forms of pedagogical support for the professional development of future teachers in Great Britain. 4. To carry out a comparative analysis of pedagogical support for the professional development of future teachers in Great Britain and Ukraine. 5. To develop recommendations regarding the use of the constructive experience of Great Britain for pedagogical support of the professional development of future teachers in Ukraine. The object of the study is the process of professional training of future teachers in Great Britain and Ukraine. The subject of the research is the theoretical, normative and practical provision of pedagogical support for the professional development of future teachers in Great Britain. The practical significance of the obtained research results is that the research conclusions and author's recommendations regarding pedagogical support for the professional development of future teachers in Great Britain, its content, and organizational forms can be applied in Ukraine at the regulatory, institutional, and individual levels. The results of the research can also be used when updating educational programs and individual educational components (Comparative pedagogy, History of pedagogy, History of foreign educational and educational systems) from specialties 011 Education, pedagogical sciences, 012 Primary education and 014 Secondary education.
