Nadvirnianskyi Y. Assessment and activation of trade and economic relations between Ukraine and the EU.

The research object is the economic processes of trade and economic relations between Ukraine and the EU. The aim of the dissertation is to improve the theoretical and methodological provisions and practical recommendations regarding the assessment of the state and activation of trade and economic relations between Ukraine and the EU. The theoretical and methodological basis of the research is the dialectical method of cognition, which is based on the fundamental provisions of economic theory and uses the scientific works of domestic and foreign scientists, which relate to the problems of trade and economic relations between Ukraine and the EU. Dissertation works used the following methods: theoretical generalization - with the aim of summarizing the achievements of scientists in the study of trade and economic relations between Ukraine and the EU; systematization - to organize collected information on trade and economic relations between Ukraine and the EU; deduction, analysis - to study individual stages and processes of trade and economic relations between Ukraine and the EU; induction, synthesis - for the purpose of summarizing information about the economic efficiency of trade and economic relations between Ukraine and the EU; abstractions - to focus only on trade and economic relations between Ukraine and the EU, without taking into account insignificant factors; comparison and detailing - to assess the indicators of the effectiveness of trade and economic relations between Ukraine and the EU; relative values and series of dynamics - for the analysis of trade and economic relations between Ukraine and the EU; grouping - for the purpose of combining economic indicators into groups based on certain common features to identify relationships between them and compare indicators of the assessment of trade and economic relations between Ukraine and the EU; statistical and economic - for the analysis of structural changes in trade and economic relations between Ukraine and the EU; economic-mathematical - for the purpose of applying the techniques of mathematical statistics to determine the type of change in the phenomena of economic efficiency and the reliability of the obtained average values of economic indicators; graphic - to display research data in the form of tables and figures for clarity and clarity; monographic - for an in-depth study of the organization, development and improvement of trade and economic relations between Ukraine and the EU. The conclusions obtained in the course of the study arouse interest in both scientific and theoretical aspects, as well as in practical aspects, the possibility of their implementation in the practice of trade and economic relations between Ukraine and the EU. The scientific novelty of the obtained results is determined by what has been improved: a verbal model of the systematic interpretation of the content of the most important theories of international exchange; the procedure for assessing the size and dynamics of trade in Ukraine and the EU; a methodical approach to assessing the impact of foreign trade on the national economy; analytical provision of diagnostics of the use of investment resources; gravity model of the study of the spatial structure of trade and economic relations. Acquired further development: conceptual bases of research on the development of trade and economic relations between Ukraine and the EU; organizational and economic principles of research on the development of trade and economic relations between Ukraine and the EU; scientific and methodological substantiation of interdependence between export and import of Ukraine from the EU using macroeconomic multifactorial analysis.
