The work contains a justification of the appropriateness of the chosen research topic and the relevance of the problem of the readiness of future pilots of intercultural interaction. The purpose, main tasks, object and subject of research are determined; characterized methods of research. The scientific novelty and theoretical and practical receipt of results are determined. Information on testing and implementation of experimental research results, structure and scope of work, number of publications are provided. The first section «Theoretical principles of the formation of the readiness of future pilots for intercultural interaction in professional activities» highlights intercultural interaction as a subject of scientific research. The analysis of the source base of research on the basic concepts: «culture», «interaction», «readiness», «professional readiness» is carried out. The concept of «intercultural interaction» is interpreted as a process of dialogue between representatives of different cultures using means of communication and choice of behavior, as a result of which mutual influence is carried out at the cognitive, social, psychological and emotional levels. It analyses the features of the content of training future pilots for intercultural interaction in modern conditions. It determined the content and structure of the readiness of future pilots for intercultural interaction. The concept of «readiness of future pilots for intercultural interaction» is defined as the ability to adapt in a multicultural environment through effective communication, knowledge and respect for rules and norms of behavior, traditions of other cultures, skills to clearly form and perform professional tasks in standard and special flight conditions. In the structure of readiness, four interrelated components are distinguished and substantiated: motivational, cognitive-active, conative and interpersonal. The second section «Organizational and pedagogical support for the formation of readiness for intercultural interaction in professional activities» highlights the state of the formation of the readiness of future pilots for intercultural interaction by conducting a questionnaire of current and future pilots. The criteria and their indicators are allocated, namely: value (socio-cultural relations, motivation of professional activity, cultural values); cognitive (cultural and ethnic knowledge, cultural and ethnic skills); behavioral (favorable microclimate, self-regulation, adaptability); interpersonal (conflict resistance, tolerance, sensitivity). It differentiated high, medium and low levels of readiness for intercultural interaction according to the criteria. The pedagogical conditions for the formation of readiness for intercultural interaction: the formation of value orientations through the creation of a positive psychological climate; organization of teamwork in the process of studying professionally oriented disciplines; integration of the cultural aspect into professionally oriented disciplines; stimulating a reflexive attitude to the process of forming the qualities of intercultural interaction. The implementation of pedagogical conditions takes place through the following forms and methods: discussions, conversations, role-playing games, storytelling, brainstorming, projects, presentations, modeling of intercultural situations, intercultural training, extracurricular and independent work. In the process of scientific research, the structural and functional model of formation of the readiness of future pilots for intercultural interaction in professional activity, which consists of four interrelated blocks, has been developed and theoretically substantiated – methodological and organizational (purpose, objectives, scientific approaches, general didactic and specific principles); content (content, pedagogical conditions, methods, forms and means); effectiveness and evaluation (components, criteria, indicators, levels and result). The third section «Experimental study of the formation of the readiness of future pilots for intercultural interaction in professional activities» determines the results of the study by checking the effectiveness of the introduction of pedagogical conditions and the structural and functional model of the formation of the readiness of future pilots for intercultural interaction. As a result, we note a significant increase in the average and high levels of readiness of future pilots for intercultural interaction. Thus, it determined the effectiveness of pedagogical conditions and the structural and functional model of formation of future pilots’ readiness for intercultutal interaction. A statistically significant discrepancy in the indicators of the readiness of future pilots for intercultural interaction of the experimental group at the control stage of the experiment showed the feasibility of further implementation of the developed measures in the educational process.
