The dissertation is devoted to solving the scientific task of forming a system of economic support for the strategic development of the domestic coke industry, which creates a fundamental basis for further transformational processes, including in the post-war period.
The introduction substantiates the relevance of the research topic, defines its connection with scientific programs, plans and topics. In accordance with the established goal, which involves the deepening of theoretical provisions and the further development of scientific, methodological and practical recommendations for the formation of a system of economic support for the strategic development of the coke-chemical industry of Ukraine, the main tasks of the work are outlined, the scientific novelty and practical significance of the obtained results are determined. The personal contribution of the author is substantiated, the results of the approval of the main provisions of the dissertation, scientific publications, the structure and overall scope of the work are presented.
The first section “Theoretical foundations of economic support for the strategic development of the coke-chemical industry of Ukraine" highlights the theoretical essence of the strategic development of the coke-chemical industry; the main approaches to the formation of economic support for industry development are analyzed; the foreign experience of economic support for the development of the coke industry was studied.
On the basis of a theoretical study of the features of the strategic development of the coke chemical industry, approaches to understanding the essence of its economic support are systematized; the author's vision of the model of strategic development of the domestic coke chemical industry is substantiated. It has been proven that the development of the coke-chemical industry, as a complex system, objectively requires appropriate economic support, and, accordingly, the study of the scientific basis of such processes, which will allow to develop existing achievements and look for new opportunities, to outline the prospects for the strategic development of the domestic industry.
The functions, components of the system of economic support for the strategic development of the coke chemical industry are defined, its categorical apparatus is clarified; means and instruments of regulatory influence on the processes of strategic development of the domestic coke chemical industry. Factors influencing the strategic development of the coke industry have been formed.
A structural diagram of the formation of a system of economic support for the strategic development of the coke-chemical industry of Ukraine has been developed.
The principles of forming a system of economic support for the strategic development of the coke industry have been determined. The principles of the formation of this system have been specified. It has been proven that the formation of economic support for the strategic development of the domestic coke industry should be based on an optimal combination of various elements using a systemic approach.
It was found out that the foreign experience of implementing the processes of economic support for the development of the coke industry in world leaders is based on a programmatic approach, which is based on the development and implementation of mutually agreed programs (within the framework of the state industrial policy). Attention is focused on the fact that investments are an important tool for their successful implementation. Concepts of the development of global coke-chemical production and foreign practices are studied, which are of interest for renovations in the coke-chemical industry of Ukraine and can become drivers of post-war development with a real synergistic effect.
In the second section "Diagnostics of influencing factors on the processes of economic support of the strategic development of the coke chemical industry" the development of the coke chemical industry of Ukraine as a component of the national economy is analyzed; improved methods and models of economic support for the strategic development of the coke industry; in-depth scientific and methodical toolkit of economic support for the strategic development of the coke industry.
Based on the analysis of the main statistical indicators, an analysis of the main economic indicators of the activity of coke chemical enterprises was carried out, and the reasons for a significant drop in coke production were established. It was determined that at the current stage, the coke-chemical industry of Ukraine faces a number of problems of an economic, social, technical and technological nature, which prevent its development and the achievement of the relevant effects.
