Essay

The dissertation study is devoted to the problem of forming the readiness of correctional teachers for teamwork in teaching children with special educational needs. Therefore, the status of the problem in psychological and pedagogical literature is analyzed, in particular: the essence and structure of teamwork in the professional activity of a correctional teacher is outlined; the feasibility of using a team approach during the organization and implementation of the educational process for children with special educational needs is determined; the essence and content of the teamwork competence of the correctional teacher are formulated; the structure of the correctional teacher's readiness for teamwork during the education of children with special educational needs is substantiated, and the criteria, indicators, and levels of its formation are determined; the effectiveness of psychological and pedagogical support aimed at forming the readiness of correctional teachers for teamwork is developed, tested and confirmed, which includes the educational discipline program "Teamwork in the professional activity of a correctional teacher", the business game "Teamwork is the key to success in teaching children with special needs", intended for future correctional teachers, as well as the training program "Formation of team interaction in the process of psychological and pedagogical support of children with special educational needs", intended for correctional teachers as specialists. The practical significance of the obtained results lies in the development of the methodology for empirical research on the readiness of correctional teachers for teamwork in teaching children with special educational needs; development and approval of the educational discipline program and business game aimed at forming future correctional teachers' readiness for teamwork in teaching children with special educational needs; development and approval of a training program aimed at forming the readiness of correctional teachers for teamwork in teaching children with special educational needs; the possibility of using the materials of the dissertation research by correctional teachers and other participants in the psychological and pedagogical support of children with special educational needs within the scope of professional activity, at courses for improving the qualifications of correctional teachers and other pedagogical workers, during the professional training of students of higher education in higher education institutions, specialty 016 Special education, as well as for further scientific research. The dissertation highlights the results of the analysis of scientific approaches to team building, the use of the team approach in the professional activity of a correctional teacher, in particular during the education of children with special educational needs in various types of institutions, outlines the integral structure of teamwork as a theoretical basis necessary to ensure teamwork in the professional activities of correctional teachers. It is noted that the pedagogy of partnership as the basis of the new Ukrainian school requires team interaction from the participants of the educational process, which obliges teachers, in particular correctional teachers as mandatory participants of the psychological and pedagogical support of children with special educational needs, to master the competence of teamwork, that is, the ability to work in a team effectively. Considering the competence approach, the essence and content of the competence of teamwork in the professional activity of a correctional teacher is defined, which combines knowledge, skills, teamwork skills, value orientations, and motivation regarding the implementation of teamwork within the professional activity, as well as personal qualities necessary for work in a team. It has been proven that the competence of teamwork in the professional activity of a correctional teacher is formed as a result of his achievement of a high level of readiness for teamwork. The expediency and content of the methodology for researching the readiness of correctional teachers for teamwork in teaching children with special educational needs has been developed and substantiated. The criteria, indicators, and levels of readiness of correctional teachers for teamwork in teaching children with special educational needs are determined, and the research toolkit is formed. The experimental implementation of psychological and pedagogical support for the formation of readiness of correctional teachers for teamwork led to the absence of a low level and the growth of indicators of high and medium levels of development of all structural components of readiness of correctional teachers (future correctional teachers) for teamwork in teaching children with special educational needs, which proved its expediency and effectiveness.
