Essay

The object of the study is energy-efficient public buildings. The subject of the study is the volume-spatial organization of public buildings that are formed using energy-efficient technologies. The aim of the dissertation research is to determine the scientifically based principles of architectural formation of volumetric and spatial solutions of energy-efficient public buildings and to develop recommendations regarding their volumetric and spatial organization. The research methodology is a comprehensive approach, which involves considering the research object as an element of a single urban planning structure, which excludes the possibility of making limited and non-comprehensive decisions, and includes: the study of scientific works and literary sources, analysis of archival documents, retrospective morphological analysis of the development of the territory, natural survey and photo-fixation of industrial facilities, graphic analysis of general and situational plans, construction of grapho-analytical and three-dimensional models of architectural and planning solutions, experimental design. As a result of the research, the principles of volume-spatial solutions of energy-efficient public buildings were formulated; proposed classification of energy-efficient public buildings according to the choice of renewable energy sources; a theoretical model of a volumetric-spatial solution based on ecological criteria was developed, which is conventionally divided into two levels according to the urban planning hierarchy; the method of choosing a volumetric-spatial solution of public buildings depending on the choice of renewable energy sources is proposed; criteria for evaluating architectural solutions of energy-efficient public buildings are summarized; volume-spatial techniques for the formation of energy-efficient public buildings are proposed. The practical significance of the obtained results is that the main conclusions and results of the work can be used in the development of project proposals for energy-efficient public buildings, in the preparation of the task program for the design of energy-efficient public buildings, in the development of recommendations for designers. In the process of studying in higher architectural and construction institutions - as a methodological justification for the course and diploma design of energy-efficient public buildings. The results of the study were implemented in the development of project solutions for the Children's City Polyclinic No. 6 at the address of Odesa, str. Akademika Filatov, 7a and Odesa Lyceum "European" at the address of the city of Odesa, str. Marshal Govorov, 8a, as well as in the management of diploma projects at the Odessa State Academy of Construction and Architecture.
